Hi I'm Rand

I grew up in Knoxville. I played basketball. I performed in musicals. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, especially basketball. I have played basketball my entire life. I have also ran track in an organized setting, however I will play any sport for recreation. I also love singing and doing musicals. I have been in 4 musicals, and I have participated in several choirs. I love movies and hanging out with friends. I think beaches are a great place to relax, but I'll never turn down the thrill of theme parks. I'm easy going, and love talking to anyone who wants to have a conversation.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been mormon my entire life, however, I have had a conversion experience. For most of my life I would go to church because my parents did, however I recently decided that for the rest of my life, I needed to have my own testimony. So I prayed for my own testimony in the Book of Mormon, and for the truthfulness of the church. I received an answer. I now have a very strong testimony that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and that this Church is true. Since i know that the Book of Mormon is true, I know that Josepth Smith was a prophet, and that the teachings of him, and every prophet since, have been commandments of God. This church can bring so much joy, I have felt this joy, and I know that anyone who obeys the commandments of God, can feel this joy too. I love being Mormon, I love living the standards, and helping others.

How I live my faith

I have recently just changed from leading a youth group, to teaching lessons to men. However, for the next 2 years I will be serving a mission. On my mission I will be teaching investigators about the church and doing service for anyone who needs it. Performing service is my favorite part about being mormon. I have done several service projects, with my church, for people in my community and city.
