Hi I'm Weston G. Brandon

I am an avid dirt bike rider, hunter, and Mormon. I grew up on a cattle ranch in Rush Valley, UT and I love thunderstorms!

About Me

I love motocross, the mountains, thunderstorms, and food. I am a missionary in the Tampa, Florida mission. I have attended church all my life but I did not ever have a testimony until I was already in high school. I worked on my grandpas cattle ranch out of Rush Valley, UT for many years. I am the oldest in my family with two sisters behind me. I love defensive firearms training and hunting. I harvested my first deer at twelve years old. I played baseball my entire life until I was 16, and then I replaced my hobby with dirt bike riding. I've never felt an adrenaline rush quite like motocross. I have a very strong testimony of how important doing the little things are. Prayers, scriptures study, family home evening, service, all of it. There's nothing that helps you gain a testimony more than putting your faith to the test, as it says in Ether 12. My ultimate goal in this life is to marry the wife of my dreams and have an eternal family. There is no more important work on this earth than spreading the gospel so that all of our brothers and sisters can have the opportunities that we have been so blessed with.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because personal experience in reading the Book of Mormon, seeing the blessings of living higher standards, and for the love i have for my Savior and how merciful he has been to me. I do not deserve the blessings i have or the forgiveness i have received through Christ's atonement, but nonetheless, God loves me more than i can imagine and it suprises me how much his grace helps me. I am a Latter-Day Saint because I firmly believe in the restored priesthood and of the miracles that can performed through it. Having a prophet and apostles on the earth today is on of the greatest blessings that I can think of, and i have received my own personal revelation and direction for my life through their inspired words.

How I live my faith

I do the little things. I read my scriptures and pray every day, and i attend church meetings every sunday. I serve a mission in Florida that takes up 100% of my time. I share the gospel with whoever i can and i love answering questions that people have and teaching them how the gospel can improve their quality of life.
