Hi I'm Jeff

Hi, I'm from Utah. I'm married, have 3 Children and 3 Grandchildren. Family is the most important thing in my life.

About Me

My wife and I met as high school sweethearts. We were married in the Jordan River Temple just over 32 years ago. We both love the game of Baseball. Though age has caught up with us and we don't often play anymore, we both enjoy watching games in person and on TV. We also love the outdoors, and free time is spent camping, fishing and spending time in the Mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

Though born into the church, it wasn't until later in life that I received my conviction and testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. It didn't come to me like I expected, as a teenager, I thought that I would just read the Book of Mormon and "bam" I would know the truth. For me, it took many months of studying and prayer. It wasn't until I truly and humbly knelt before The Lord that he gave me that burning in my chest that felt like I had been struck by lightning. Being a member of the Church is not an event, it is a journey of eternal magnitude that requires constant and continuous fortitude and diligence.

How I live my faith

The Savior is very important in my life and the life of my family. It's not something we do just on Sunday but encompasses who we are. Far from perfect, I make mistakes everyday. The great thing about understanding the Lords plan, is to know that Heavenly Father knows I'm imperfect and he loves me anyway. He has given me a the wonderful gift of forgiveness, that allows me to always try to do better without worrying about those mistakes of my past. My work takes me places and associates me with others that know very little of my Faith. When people hear I'm from Utah, inevitably I'm asked about my Faith. I always do my very best to stand proud and proclaim my membership and my choice to live the standards I have chosen. It's always a great opportunity to share what I know and let people know that god loves them and wants them to have the same opportunities I have, to return to him.
