Hi I'm Sam

I'm from San Jose, CA. I'm planning on becoming a doctor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a recently married pre-med student studying biochemistry at BYU. I love reading and playing sports, mainly soccer, waterpolo, and basketball. My hobbies are spending time with my wife and hanging out with friends. Being from CA, I love the beach and wish I could go there more often.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the things I seek most in life is happiness. I think that is something we all want; one of our greatest desires. I have found that throughout my life, all my happiness has come from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Being a Mormon has blessed me with a happy and stable family. It has given me morals that have guided me away from addictive habits that could destroy my future. It has shown me how serving others brings satisfaction and joy. It has led me to seek an education to better myself, my family, and my community. It has brought me the most wonderful wife, Katie-Anne, who supports me and brings me happiness everyday. But most of all, it gives me understanding of why I am here and where I am going. It gives me purpose, knowing that through Jesus Christ, my Savior, I can be perfect and return to my God again, with my family forever.

How I live my faith

Right now in my church I'm a ward missionary. That means I help the ward members learn how to appropriately share their faith and what they believe to those around them. I teach a 45 min class every Sunday and I take time to go meet new members in my area and help support them. It's a very fulfilling calling and I love it.
