Hi I'm Jackson

My name is Jackson, I live in Utah, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student. I am runner. I am a pianist and singer. I am a technology addict. I am a friend. I am a leader. I I am a Priesthood Holder. I am an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am the oldest son of two wonderful parents who love and care for each other. I am planning to go and serve an LDS mission. I am the son of our wonderful, caring, and loving Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I know the our Savior, Jesus Christ really did sacrifice himself for our sins. Through my mistakes, my transgressions, the Holy Ghost continually bears a witness of this gospel. I become humbled; I desire to make a change. I am able to forgiven because of our Savior's Atonement; I have felt/seen it work miracles in my life. I have, and I am becoming a better person. I know this church is true because I have seen it work these miracles in my life. This is why I am a Mormon; this gospel changes lives. It makes us better people.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. I attend Seminary. Seminary is a class by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that teaches High School students more about our Church. It also encourages Daily Scripture Study and sharing the gospel with our peers. I pray to my Heavenly Father. I show my faith in our Heavenly Father, and his son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost by praying to my Heavenly Father. I thank him for the many blessings that he has given unto me. I then ask him to bless me to help me become a better person. I ask for help, for guidance. I ask for forgiveness. I am able to be forgiven through the grace of our savior Jesus Christ. I try to be an example. In the world today we see many evil things. However, there is also much good. As I go throughout my daily activities, I try to do my best to be that example of the good in this world. Sometimes I stumble; I am not always the example I should be. When I make mistakes, I ask for forgiveness. My Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost, reminds me of what I want to be. He humbles me. I am then charged to go out again unto the world and be the example that he wants me to be. I play the piano. Music is a powerful thing. As I attend Seminary and attend my church meetings, I am often given the opportunity the accompany as we sing hymns unto our God. These hymns help not only those singing them, but myself as well. The words, the music, and the spirit that come from these hymns testify to me that our Heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are there, and that they love us.
