We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Daniel Smith

I'm a missionary serving the Lima East Peru Mission. I'm OCD, balding, and easy going. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Well uhh, hello there. I am a very blessed, very happy, missionary serving in Lima Peru. I'm the youngest of 11 kids. I'm from a small town where there is more cows than humans, and I LOVE it. My family and parents are awesome, they have supported me through all my choices, whether good or bad. This gospel has brought me more peace and happiness than anything in this world. I'm giving two years to it, I'd give my whole life to it, and I would die supporting it. I love my life, and my home. I've been blessed with the best people on this earth in my life. I'm extremely organized, can get along with anyone, don't judge, and love to get know people. My life is awesome. Plain and Simple.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for a lot of reasons, I was born into this gospel, baptized at eight, and kept moving up, but I was never a true member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints until I realized for MYSELF what I wanted in life, where I wanted to go, and be. I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy, it helps me sleep at night, it improves my life in every aspect of every day. I'm a Mormon because I want to be. I couldn't find a better life to live other than this one. I love this church with all my heart! This gospel is perfect, and being as OCD as I am, I love perfect things. The Book of Mormon, is perfect. the Atonement, is perfect. Jesus Christ is perfect. Never underestimate the perfectness of God, his plan, timing, or words. His love for us is perfect. Perfect examples, is why I'm a mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Meaning I'll never be perfect, and I make mistakes daily, but I put Christ at the center of my faith, and life. I try and improve each day, and when I mess up. I repent. I never let satan tell me that I've messed up too much, or that was too far. I recognize that it was wrong, and I need to be better, I pray, ponder, and change. It isn't overnight, but it's continuous improvement through the continuous atonement. I try to live in a way that people can tell I'm different. That the spirit is constantly my companion, and I'm always trustworthy, helpful, and kind. It isn't always easy, but it's worth it.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Daniel Smith
Pray, then pray again. Then pray again. If you ask god a sincere questions, he'll give you a sincere answer. We have to LISTEN to his answers. They won't be easy, but they're what is best for us. A 92 year old man walked up to me and said, "I want to bear my testimony to you on the Word of Wisdom." I smiled and agreed to hear his words. He said, "I'm 92 years old" (Dead serious he looked like he was 70) he continued, "I give credit to the Word of Wisdom, I have obeyed it all my life, and at my old age I am out and about, I don't take any medications, and I feel like I have plenty of life left in me. The biggest problem I have is drinking Pepsi" With shock and awe in my eyes I told him that's awesome, I looked up to him, and I promised him I'd share his testimony on my mission. He quoted to scripture D&C 82:10 "I, the lord am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise" His health is a perfect example of that scripture. He didn't break the Word of Wisdom, the lord kept him healthy, and that's the gospel truth! Show more Show less
