Hi I'm Rebecca Hansen

I'm home schooled. I love music and photography. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young women who is home schooled and loves music. I have moved several times in my life, and being home schooled has made it harder to find friends where we go, but being apart of this church has given me so many opportunities to make friends with the people I meet there, and I am extremely grateful for that. I play the piano, violin, ukulele, and guitar, and I love them all. I enjoy cooking, writing, and photography, and have always loved serving others where I am able to.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life, and the best thing I can say is how eternally blessed and grateful I am to have this gospel in my life. I have seen the blessings that come from living the gospel, and serving others, and following the Lord's commandments. For a while, I struggled a lot with my self-worth, and I'm sure a lot of people do, but having this gospel in my life helps me remember that I have a Father in Heaven and a Savior, Jesus Christ, who loves me, and everyone else. It doesn't matter what I have or haven't done, they still love me. That alone helps me get back up and remember that I'm a beloved child and daughter of God, and we all are. I cannot express the gratitude that I have for our Savior and His atonement. I know that without him, there would be no way for my pains and sins to be taken from me. I know that this church is true and that our Savior and Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us, and that no matter how alone we feel, we are never completely alone. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet and that he restored this gospel on the earth. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that He was resurrected. I love this gospel and I am a Mormon, I know it, I live it, and I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the commandments and to be an example to those around me, especially for my family and friends. I try to follow the Savior's example and be more Christ-like and serve others. There is so much joy I receive when I serve others. I love this gospel and everything I have learned from it. I try to always remember our Savior and strive to have charity like Him.
