Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in Lehi, Utah. I'm a Eagle scout, college graduate, missionary, and a Mormon.

About Me

I love psychology! People's minds fascinate me, and I love to understand how people think. I'm studying for a degree in psychology, which I hope will turn into a career someday. I'm big brother to four siblings, and a few foster children at any given time. I have often had the blessing of being able to travel across the world, including places like the Caribbean, Mexico, Taiwan, Indonesia, and many US states.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by honest, good parents. I am constantly stunned by the sacrifices and hard work given by my parents for their family's benefit. More recently I've done a lot of soul searching for myself. I know that Christ is the only path to true peace. In a world like ours, a world of chaos and voices and pressure, Christ keeps me centered. I know the things that are truly important. I know what choice is right. I know how to be forgiven for my mistakes. I know these things because His Spirit is with me. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it's His church.

How I live my faith

I served as the a Family History Consultant for several years. I've also served as president of my various youth groups. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission, where I devote all of my time and effort into preaching the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Jordan
An important lesson we all realize when we come to this earth is the extent of our imperfection. At some point in our lives, we all realize what minute, unrefined, irresponsible, imperfect people we are, and in that moment, we can realize that Christ's atonement not only lifted him up as savior of the world, but also extended a hand to ALL of us rebellious children to be lifted up. Through him, we can be made like him. We can be lifted up out of our sin into the light of eternal life. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Jordan
God won't teach you something you aren't willing to learn. If you want to know the truth of these things, or any thing, I believe the best way is to live it and see. The Bible teaches that ye shall know things are good by their fruits (Mathew 7:20). By the fruits of your actions in keeping with the teachings of the gospel, you can know the truth of those things also. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Jordan
Of course! Christ is not only the center of our title, but the center of our faith! Christ's atonement is the only path to everlasting life and happiness. He is our Elder Brother, Savior, and Advocate. Show more Show less
