Hi I'm Andi

Feed me and we will be friends. The quickest way to my heart is through my stomach.

About Me

I was born and raised in the great state of Idaho, where I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm a daddy's girl, I am the youngest of three children, I have an older sister who is married with 4 children and one on the way, and a older brother who is married to his beautiful wife. I've always been an active person all of my life and engaged in many different activities. Music was a huge part of my life, I was in choir classes every year I was in school. Also I am self taught on the piano and can sight read music with ease thanks to the few piano lessons I did have. I love sports, absolutely love them. I participated in competitive swim team from a young age till my freshman year of high school. I later tried Track and Field and I excelled in the High Jump. I decided to focus more on high jump through out high school in attempts to receive a sports scholarship for college. I was fortunate enough that I did receive a college scholarship to a school in Utah. I was blessed to be friends with phenomenal people but it turned out college sports weren't for me, so I've decided to work and save up for a mission, and to attend school once more after my mission is complete. I am serving in the Hungary, Budapest area. My hobbies consist of photography, running, drawing, painting, piano, gardening, singing, binge watching netflix, underwater basket weaving, cooking, and adventures. I love baseball, my favorite team is the Pittsburgh Pirates, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon by choice. I have wavered before, left the church and have always came back to what I knew to be true. Regardless of my blackened past, I know I am forgiven. I know, not just merely believe, I know that my Redeemer lives. I know that I am numbered and that he knows me by name. I know that every time I fall, His loving hand is out stretched towards me to help me back up so that I may repent, let go and press forward. I know that I am never alone. Every pain, sorrow and heartbreak I've had, he has felt. He knows how I feel. He knows there is so much more to me, he helps me see that I have so much to offer. He has me know that the photos I'm the magazines do not dictate who I am suppose to be. I know I apart of a bigger picture. I know he lives. For he has risen. I know that my Redeemer lives. Oh sweet, the joy this sentence gives. I know, that my Redeemer lives. I know that my once blackened past, has now been made clean through his saving atonement. I know that through Heavenly Father's plan of happiness I am with my family forever, into the eternities. I know Joseph Smith was and is a true prophet of God. I know that God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ appeared to a fourteen year old Joseph Smith in the sacred grove. That an angel appeared to him and that he translated an ancient record on gold plates by the power and will of God. Through that power we now have that sacred record in print, know as the Book of Mormon. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the a true prophet and gives modern date revelation, I know that he is the Lord's mouthpiece to guide and direct us in these latter days. I know all of these things to be true, and I humbly say them in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. I try to be the best person I can be and find ways to lift people up and help them through their day to day tasks even if it is in the smallest ways. I start my mornings with a prayer, and a brief scripture thought to start the day off on a positive note. Honestly, the best way I practice my faith is by serving those around me, and those who I love. I used to serve in my singles ward as a ward greeter, and a visiting teacher. My previous ward greeter calling was to welcome those who come in to church daily and introduce myself to those who may be new to the ward or who I may not recognize. By meeting new people through that calling I was able to make new friends and help them with needs that they or their loved ones may have. Another calling I had an opportunity to serve in was as a Temple worker in the Boise Idaho Temple has been a huge blessing to me as I was preparing to serve a mission in the Hungary, Budapest Mission. It has helped me rely on the Lord and to rely on the spirit while learning. I constantly rely on the Lord for help. I practice my faith by being the best "me" I can be. I find solitude in studying the Book of Mormon, the Old Testament, the New Testament and Preach my Gospel. I have found for myself that I know these are not ordinary books but testaments of Christ. I know the Book of Mormon is true, I know that by abiding by its precepts we can become the closest we can possibly be to our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. I try to be as "Christ-like" as I can be, to be kind, patient, and willing to serve. I live my faith through service of others, I live my faith through study, I live my faith through being friends, I live my faith through loving everyone. I live my faith by being the best I can be, and still striving each day to be better. I strive to preach the Gospel daily and when necessary use words.
