Hi I'm Carlos Glick

I was born in Santa Barbara County in California. At the age of 6, I was adopted by my dad and moved to New York. Im a Mormon.

About Me

When I was 2 years old, I was in a car crash which damaged my whole left side of my body. As a result of this, I can not do some things that other people could do like bike riding. But I am capable of doing many things like, back in my middle school, I was on my schools soccer team for 2 years. From 8th grade up till my Senior Year of highschool, I was a part of the Drama Department at my school. During highschool, I was also involved in many other clubs. For instanse, I was involved in the Newspaper Club, Spanish Club, United for Service (UFS), Student Council, Peer Mentor. For 3 years, I had the opportunity to attend EFY which had changed my life for good. I currently have 3 sisters and one brother, one who has slight autism. I recently just graduated from high school and am about to go on a mission to the New York New York North Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be it, Not by my parents, me. I know that the scriptures are true. I know that President Thomas S Monson is the only true and living prophet here on this Earth today. I know that Joseph Smith was a peophet of God. Without him, the gospel wouldnt be here on the Earth today. I know that the scriptures are true. I know that Joseph Smith really did translate them.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my actions. Back in high school, people always did the wrong thing. As a Mormon, and the only LDS person from my highschool, it was very difficult to live by my standards, because everyone around me did the wrong things but I stood up for my beliefs.
