Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a traveler, book worm, musician, and foody. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was home schooled in California. I like to feel like a princess. I have a small garden with my Mom that gives me a lot of joy. I crave the feeling service gives me almost as much as I crave chocolate. I am taking a break from studying music in college to serve a mission in Arizona for 18 months. I love talking about the gospel more than anything but I also sing, cook, eat, hike, read, crochet, and travel. I have been to China, Europe, and most states in the US. I hope to continue traveling and learning forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I am blessed to have been raised Mormon. My dad was 24 when he met my mom who introduced him to the missionaries. He joined the church and soon after they were married. My parents strength and faith through trials lead to me having a personal testimony at a young age. I was tested a lot growing up and I wasn't perfect at following the gospel. But what keeps me Mormon today is the Gift Holy Ghost, the miracles of the Priesthood, and the grace of Jesus. I know that this gospel (more than any other of the many churches I have attended and studied) contains the fullness of Christs gospel. I know that Christ leads this church through the living prophet. I know that when we obey God's words we can have a burning in our hearts and be blessed with a knowledge of God's love for us as His children. I have had the Spirit of God testify to me that the words I read in the Bible and Book of Mormon are true and will bless my life. I know that as we strive to become more like Christ we can repent and be forgiven daily. I know that forgiveness and progression is possible through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know it because I have lived it and experimented upon the word. I know it because the Holy Ghost has witnessed to me and I have seen the blessings and miracles of the Lord in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others and trying to follow Jesus. I show my faith by never turning down a calling in the church. I strengthen my faith by living it "at all times and in all things and in all places." I take the sacrament every Sunday at church. I stand up for my morals and beliefs in all situations. I study from the scriptures, pray constantly, and try to become closer to my Savior everyday. I keep my faith strong by sharing with others how Christ has saved me. I try to be like Jesus and I mess up everyday but I keep going because I know I can be forgiven and strengthened through grace.
