Hi I'm Walter

I grew up in Salt Lake City. I love talking to people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi i'm Walter. I love talking with people. I find that there is no better way to learn or understand people than by just talking to them. I have moved around a lot growing up. Going to lots of different schools, and meeting lots of different people. I truly love music, music has the power to change everything around us. I feel that life without music would be sad. I love to play games, whether that may be board games, video games, or just games you play to goof off with your friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but when I entered into my teenage years was when continuing to follow the Churches teachings became my choice. My parents didn't force me to come, or to participate. It was all my choice. The reason I choose to stay is simple. I choose to stay because I know it to be true. In my life I have felt the hand of God in my life, and I have felt the spirit of the Lord come unto me. I know its true, because when I have asked in prayer I received an answer that it was true. I know that there are miracles every day no matter how small. I know that Christ knows me, and has suffered for my sins. I know that God is there, and when I ask with good and faithful intentions I will get and answer to my prayer. Even though it might not be the answer I want.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying every day to be the best I can be. I go to church every Sunday where I participate so I can learn. I have been both the teacher and the student. By giving lessons in Sunday school or Priesthood meeting. Or by giving a message in Sacrament meeting. I went to all youth activities, as well as full fill my obligations. I do my home teaching once a month where I either give the lesson, or assist my home teaching companion. Most important I realize that I will mess up, but I know that I can always get back up. And move forward.
