Hi I'm Scotty

I'm 18. I play lacrosse, football and ski. I am a magician. I'm serving a mission in Guatemala. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well Hi! My name is Scotty. I'm the eldest brother of 4 younger siblings. I am an avid lacrosse player. I hope to one day play at Brigham Young University, as a defender or LSM. I also play football and love to go skiing. I love anything with water; swimming, wake boarding, boating, cliff jumping, fishing and basically anything else in, on, or around water. The outdoors are amazing to me, I love to go camping and hiking and looking at nature. I love to entertain and make people smile. I am a magician and learning the art of hypnosis. I also play the piano and sing a little bit, but mostly in the shower. I am now serving a mission in the beautiful country of Guatemala, and then plan to attend BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

Let me be clear. This is the true church of Jesus Christ. The church that He set up during his ministry has once again been restored to this earth. I've pondered and prayed diligently to know what to believe. By doing this, I have received a witness of the Holy Spirit in my heart testifying to me that this church is true. Not everything is clear to me, and by no means am I perfect, but when it comes to this church, there is not single doubt in mind that it is true. I owe everything I am to this church. I value nothing more that this gospel, and would gladly give anything for it. I know it, I live it, and I love it.

How I live my faith

I've been actively involved in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all my life. I have been a leader of numerous youth groups and church camps. I love this church. I get a burning feeling in my heart every time I talk about it, I know that it is the true church of Jesus Christ. Getting called to serve in the Retalhuleu Guatemala mission has been one of the most exciting times in my life. I can't wait to share what joy this church brings with the people in Guatemala.
