Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it.

About Me

I am one of six crazy siblings and was raised in the church. I have lived my life by the Lords example; however, I am not perfect. I've experienced trials along this way that shook me hard. Though I picked myself back up and am about to embark on a journey to México as a full time missionary. For now, life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and baptized as a child. Like other Mormons who are born into the church I didn't really have my own reason to continue going until recently. I have had many trials and I've had to test my faith which helped me understand why this church is the true church. I get this feeling of peace that I have never felt at any other church I have visited. It is a feeling of overall love from my Heavenly Father who knows my trials and transgressions. He forgives me and I can testify of it. I have a strong testimony of the power of prayer. My testimony and faith grow everyday as I study the scriptures and strive to keep the comandments of God.

How I live my faith

As I prepare to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I strive to be the best example I can be. I express my love for the Savior and my Heavenly Father with those around me as much as possible. I'm not afraid to open my mouth and let others know of my faith and the gospel of Jesus Christ. I hope that through this I can bring others unto Christ.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Chelsea
A common belief, but no we do not. Joseph Smith was a prophet who restored our gospel and doctrine to the earth. We acknowledge him for his trials in doing so but do not worship him. We worship our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Chelsea
A baptism is a new life in the ways of the Lord. We believe that the baptism is resemblance of washing away the old life and starting a new clean lifestyle. By doing so we are members of this church and are able to enter the Kingdom of God once again. Show more Show less
