Hi I'm Julia Price

I grew up in Kansas. I run, sing, dance, bake and try everything at least once. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am from Kansas! I'm a student. and right now I am serving a mission! I love to run, sing, dance, bake and cooking. I love being with my family and friends and laughing. I love music. I love health food and being outside. I love nature. I love meeting new people and doing new things. Right now I am serving as a missionary in Taipei, Taiwan until December 2015! When I get home I will be going to school to hopefully study nutrition and health and exercise science, but I'm leaving my options open! I studied American Sign Language and Spanish before my mission and can't wait to continue! I love being involved in student organizations like student council and student alumni! I am so thankful for the time I have right now to serve Heavenly Father and His children! I love being a missionary and helping others understand their purpose in life and to feel Heavenly Father's love.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up there was never a lot of Mormons in my city. It was hard sometimes but other times not. I've grown up being Mormon but I had to have my own conversion and find out for myself why I am a Mormon. And when I found out, I was the happiest I have ever been and I feel like I have a place. I stopped caring about being different than others and embraced it.

How I live my faith

I thinking that the most important part of faith is through our actions. I live my faith each day by trying my best and each day trying to be better. A big part that I have to realize over and over again is how week I really am. But I know that it is through Christ that I am able to do what I do. So I live my faith by trying my best to be who Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ would want me to be and by realizing I am not perfect, and I will make mistakes. but by being okay with that.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Julia Price
I think we are just the same as other women. We have the same interests, hopes and aspirations. I believe in equality and because I am mormon I recieve equality. My beliefs are protected and I have just the same rights as anyone else. Every person is treated equally because we are all precious children of our Heavenly Father, we are all His sons and daughters, equal in His eyes. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Julia Price
No we are not all required to serve missions! We get to decide for ourselves! I decided to serve a mission by fasting and praying. Although I never planned to serve a mission, or it was never my own desire, I know that it is Heavenly Father's plan for me to serve a mission. And by following His plan for me I have learned, grown, experienced and have had more happiness. Show more Show less
