Hi I'm Brody

I grew up in Santaquin Utah, I love hunting and fishing and spending time in the outdoors and playing sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies and interests include hunting, fishing, camping, sports, and building and fixing computers. In high school, I was on the varsity basketball, football, and soccer, team and maintained a 4.0 grade point average throughout my junior high and high school years. I was named to the academic all state team, and I am an eagle scout. I love traveling and exploring new places, some of the places I've been to include, Mexico, Alaska (for the fishing), Nauvoo Illinois, Washington DC, Alabama, Georgia, South Dakota (for Mt. Rushmore), and I have been to every state west of Colorado.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because I believe in all the blessings of our father has to offer and the plan of salvation. I know that as a member of this church and participating in the ordinances I have I can return and live with my heavenly father and my family forever. I can repent of my sins, no matter what I have done and be cleansed thanks to the atonement. I believe that this church was restored by our prophet Joseph Smith and that because of him we have the blessings and temples and the priesthood today. I believe the church helps makes us better people, not because we have rules and commandments that prohibit us, but enable us. They keep us free from the temptations of the world such as drugs, pornography, and any other substance or thing that may trap or inhibit our freedom. They help us remember why we are here and what we can achieve as we work to receive Celestial Glory in the kingdom of the most high God.

How I live my faith

I served on the Payson City Youth Council as a jury member and am very active in community service and clean up. As a home teacher in my ward I get to visit a few select families assigned to me a month to provide service to them and make sure they are healthy and well. I recently have been called as a missionary to serve the people of El Salvador for two years as a representative of Christ and of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
