Hi I'm Rob

I'm an ER doctor, skier, photographer, husband, and proud father of 4.

About Me

I love my career as an ER physician, because I get to help people through some of the most difficult, memorable, and intense moments of their entire life. I also love that I get to leave work behind, come home and focus on the most important things in my own life such as family and spiritual matters. With young kids free time is hard to come by, but when it does I love to build, repair, and improve things like our house, cars, computers, virtually anything. I would ski every week like I did in college if it were possible where I live now. I'm not a great artist, so photography is my creative outlet of choice. That way, my artistry is through interpreting the beauty God created on this earth.

Why I am a Mormon

Every day I am faced with choices, and through my entire life of trial and error, I have proven to myself time and time again that the gospel of Jesus Christ, this gospel, is true. Following these principles leads to peace, freedom and happiness, in good times or bad. More importantly, I have received a personal witness through the Holy Ghost that it is true. The Book of Mormon is true, and therefore, Joseph Smith was a true prophet.

How I live my faith

Besides my most important duty and calling of Father, I'm currently a Cub Scout Bear leader (which I love, because there is just so much cool stuff you can share with the boys, and they just eat it all up). I do my best as a Home Teacher. I was a Sunday school teacher for 4 years in Gospel Principles (The Basics). I loved that class. I was always in awe of the doctrines of Jesus Christ, how they are so simple, and the truths so profound.
