Hi I'm Julieann

I'm a mom and wife. I'm a chemist and engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Las Vegas and love the warm weather! But my husband is from Minnesota and loves the cold. So we found a happy medium in Utah (although it's still too cold). I graduated in chemical engineering and am now pursuing graduate school in chemistry. I am a mom to a one-year-old son, which is by far the most challenging aspect of my life! But it is also fun. I love going for walks and talking with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I believe families can and should be together forever. I also believe that we are all children of a loving God who wants to help us on our journey through life. I believe that God can communicate with us through prayer and let us know what is true and what is not. However, I am also a very logical person and the beliefs of the Mormon church make sense! I believe the things that don't make sense are only because we don't understand the entire picture of everything.

How I live my faith

I try to go out of my way to make friends. I look for ways to help my friends and make their lives easier. I also plan fun activities for the women at church because I believe we all need a support group and to get out and do something fun once in awhile!

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Julieann
Husbands and wives should be equal partners as they lead their family to make good decisions. We believe that marriage is of great importance and that husbands and wives should serve one another and stand by each other with complete fidelity, even through tough times. Mothers and fathers should be interested and involved in their children's lives and teach them to treat others with kindness and respect. Husbands and wives should strive to work together and help each other in all aspects of parenting. Show more Show less
