Hi I'm Britton

Hablo el idioma de los cielos, I'm a semi-professional star wars nerd, and i'm happily mormon

About Me

Grew up as a desert rat in Las Vegas Nevada, I love the outdoors, building stuff, and a bunch of other stuff.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon, because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is THE church of Jesus Christ, established by him in his lifetime, and restored by him in our days. He is the founder and leader, and because of that, i follow him. Now, that's why, now how I got to that point, is a little bigger of a story. I was born and raised in the church, but for a long time, I kind of just went through the motion, going to church here because that's what the family does, and that's what my friends do, but i never really knew for myself if it was true. I never really came to a personal testimony of the truth of this church. That is how I used to be all the way up until High School, when I felt myself growing farther and farther apart from my family, my friends from church, and I had gotten into some bad habits that only pulled me farther and farther apart. So I finally decided that it was time for me to make a change. I started to go to church with a different attitude, and I changed those bad habits in my life. That is called repentence; it is a gift from God that allows us to make changes in our lives, for the better, and recieve forgiveness from him. I finally said to myself, "Ok, I am not happy so, God, I'm going to try it your way." I decided to show some faith for once. And after I did, after I repented, and started doing things his way, I felt peace. I truly felt happy. I knew, without any doubt, I knew that I had done the right thing, and because I knew that it was the right thing, I also came to know that the church is true. The truth of this church is not something, that any person, on this Earth, can prove. The truth of The LDS (Mormon) Church can only be proven to you, if you first show faith in Jesus Christ, and find out for yourself. So find out. Have faith read the Book of Mormon, go and attend church, all with a sincere desire to know of truth. When you do that, then you'll feel God confirm it in your heart, by feelings of peace and comfort

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to follow after Jesus Christ, "in all that i do and say." Currently, I'm serving a full time mission, sharing my knowledge of Christ, and how he can help them, because he has helped me.
