Hi I'm Maureen

I grew up in Vermont, I love to travel, I am a wife and a mom, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two children and a wonderful husband. I graduated from BYU in 2010 and our family lives in rural Vermont. We love to cook and travel. We also love to hike and be outdoors. I have lived in France, Africa, and Romania. I love life and I love being happy!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ want us to be happy. Because they want us to be happy they have restored the fullness of the gospel on earth so that we can learn and grow and become more like they are. My faith helps me be confident as I raise a young family and guides me in all that I do. When I was a missionary in Romania I watched the gospel of Jesus Christ change lives, and it has changed mine too. I feel happiest when I am following the teachings of the Savior.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel. No matter where I have lived I have always had a a sense of family through my church attendance. I believe that helping and loving people is an important part of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every Sunday I get to work in the Primary, with the children, and I love teaching them about faith and about their Savior. I also love learning from children and their pure and precious faith in the gospel.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

As we are obedient and try our best to be more like the Savior, we feel His love for us and our faith and happiness increases. If we desire to be righteous and good, and desire to have faith, as we act on that desire, our faith will grow. Show more Show less
