Hi I'm Kara

I'm a personal trainer, a runner, a cyclist and a motivator. I'm a mother and a wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a fitness and nature nut. I love the ocean, it brings me peace. I love the mountains, they bring me closer to God. I love to run, cycle, swim and play. I'm a personal trainer because I love to help people and motivate them so they can feel better about themselves.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that I am a child of God, with divine potential. I have traits and qualities that can help other people and the Holy Ghost helps guide me to those people and have those experiences. I believe that all of us are more alike than we are different. We all have struggles and things we need to overcome but we all have the ability to do just that with the help of Jesus Christ. I believe that we lived before we came to this earth and that after death we will be reunited with our families and loved ones. I know that I am watched over by angles and by a Heavenly Father that loves me and wants me to be happy. I am always more happy when I am living a Christ centered life. It makes it easier to be less selfish, to make decisions out of love and to forgive myself and others. I think that to move freely through life one must first be deeply rooted. Those roots for me are the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The "Mormon Culture" can be weird to me but the principles are held close to my heart to remind me that the gospel is true, even though people are not perfect.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good person with anyone I come in contact with. I try not to judge the people around me. I error on the side of compassion because there is always a reason someone acts, reacts or is the way they are. I tend to be a leader of women, although sometimes I feel significantly under qualified. My true passion is working with the children. They bring a lightness and happiness to my heart.
