Hi I'm Will Comin

I grew up a cowboy in Wyoming, moved to Utah when I was older and now Im currently serving a mission in Ventura, California

About Me

Currently I am called Elder Comin, but that doesnt change who I am.(: There are so many things that make up "me", I love cars, music, comedy, history, science, food, friends, family and I love the Church. I love to laugh, and I try to make other people laugh, nothing really compares to seeing someones face light up because you made them laugh. I was in Debate and Drama in high school and both of those allowed me to come out of my shell and become less shy, the things I learned in both of those activities have helped me so much as a missionary. I currently dont own a car but that is because I am serving a mission, I used to own a 2010 Subaru WRX and when I return home from my mission I plan on buying a Subaru STI. My goal right now for my post-mission life is to return to school and do my Pre-med and then decide whether I want to be an Orthodontist or an Oncologist. So that one day I can achieve my dream of owning a Lamborghini Gallardo. I love politics and hope that one day I will have a chance to serve my community in some aspect with my love for politics. I also have done some stand-up comedy and would also love to do that on the side or as I am going through school. All of those plans are put on hold though, so that others may know the joy of the knowledge that families can be together forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith and I grew up with it around me in my family, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. They are my examples along with my parents who are the best. I gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon when I was 12 years old on a scouting trip, after that experiance I kind of fell away from the teaching of the church and my family. When I graduated high school I had no direction in life, I wasnt signed up for a school, a mission was not even on my mind and I needed to know what I should do. Thinking back to the experience of where I found out the Book of Mormon to be true, I decided to pray, I asked for guidence in my life. My answer didnt come like it did when I prayed about the Book of Mormon. It was weeks later when I got to help out with a youth activity after I was done helping I sat down with someone who was also helping that day. He talked about how he was about to leave on his mission and everything else he said were answers to what i had prayed about previously, thats when I knew I had to serve a mission. A year after that experieence I had recieved my call to The California, Ventura mission. I am currently serving there and its the most amazing experience of my life. My friends and family mean the world to me, but recently I have had to give them up so that others may know the joy of the knowledge that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I am serving a 2 year mission to help others experience what I know to be true.
