Hi I'm Brian

I'm a husband, I'm a father. I grew up in Utah. I was raised enjoying two cultures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah with my two younger siblings. My mother is from Mexico and my father from Utah. I was raised to love both Latino and American cultures. I graduated with a Master's degree in social work from Brigham Young University. I have been married for 10 years and we have four beautiful children. I love to run and I ran my first marathon in June, 2014. It was an incredible experience. I also enjoy playing golf and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ is very real and very personal to me. My parents faithfully attended church and demonstrated their faith by the things they did. They set a good example for me and my future. I am trying to do the same, for my family, by the way I live my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ has filled my life with light, freedom and joy. I feel peace and comfort in the gospel. Heavenly Father hears and answers our sincere prayers and absolutely wants what is best for each one of us. Jesus Christ sacrificed His life so that we might have the opportunity to obtain eternal life. I am so grateful for living prophets who live upon the earth and speak the mind and will of God. I love to attend the temple and obtain insight and revelation from God to direct my life in the best manner possible. I know that my Redeemer lives.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. It fills my soul with joy. I love reading the scriptures with my family and sharing my testimony and my love for the Savior. I was recently released as a teacher of the doctrine of the gospel and was called a scout leader of the youth. I enjoy home teaching the families in our ward and look forward to helping others who are in need.
