Hi I'm Kayley

I love art history. I love traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love learning. Especially about art history, cultures, languages, and literature. I also love hiking, playing tennis, reading, and I try to paint. I am a wife and hopefully a future mother. I've gone to college, graduated from college, and struggled to find the right job for myself. I love life and try to roll with the punches.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to church. I loved it! I loved seeing my friends and learning about cool stories from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. When I was 13 or 14 I felt like I needed to know if I really wanted to go to church and be a part of this gospel, or if I was just going because my family was. I had to figure out if I had a testimony or not. I started reading from the Book of Mormon every night and praying about it. I slowly realized that the happy, warm feeling I got when I read this book was the spirit. Things made sense, I felt close to my Savior and to my Heavenly Father, I knew that this book was true and I felt happy! The gospel continually brings joy to my life. Sometimes it is the only thing that is comforting when going through difficult trials. Sometimes it feels like the Savior is the only one who could understand me or what I'm going through. It is so comforting knowing that I am never alone. I know that God still speaks to us, through his prophet, and through the spirit. I often feel my Heavenly Father's love for me. I know that this church teaches true things. I know because I have prayed about it. I get feelings of confirmation continually as I go to church, or read in the scriptures, or have a quiet moment by myself. I am a Mormon because I know it is true, and because I love it!

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, and I get to teach and learn with the young women in my area. It is so fun connecting with these girls as I am just a few years older than them. We also have an activity during the week where we get to have fun together.
