Hi I'm Jehkiah

I love drumming, I'm going on a mission to France and I love being a Mormon.

About Me

Playing on a Drumline is just one thing that makes me happy. Just drumming with my friends and getting to work together as a team to make such awesome sounds and rhythms is so much fun even though it can be a lot of work. Getting to teach the younger kids how to get better and also learning how to develop your leadership qualities is just amazing. Building things is also one of my passions and that is why I want to become an engineer. I built a LED tie that plays Tetris with some of my friends and it was just so cool to start with an idea, work through the problems, and then end up with what we had planned on getting by never giving up.

Why I am a Mormon

Having the ability to know and have all of my questions answered, but also seeing the amazing miracles that have touched so many lives. Getting to serve others and knowing that The Lord is pleased with the progress I'm making and pleased with how I'm helping those close to me. I'm looking forward to serving the people of France as a missionary and to give my time and effort to helping them find the truth.

How I live my faith

I wake up every morning with the thought that I just wanna do the best that I can. Whether I am trying to be nice to my sisters or my co-workers, I just think that each day is a new day and The Lord doesn't want us to waste one day regretting yesterday. That's why I just want to go and be all that I can and help those around me as much as I can whether I did the very best I could the day before or not. I definitely like going to church and just enjoying the warm feeling and joy people get in seeing each other. I have had the opportunity to teach primary a few times and it has just been so amazing to see how eager the little kids are to learn the gospel and how open they are to the spirit. Hometeaching has given me many opportunities to serve others and I know The Lord gives me families that not only I bless but that can bless me. As long as I am striving to help them when they need it they bless me by sharing their testimonies and by supporting me in things like going on a mission. It's amazing to see ward families work together to help one another and the blessings that come from them.
