Hi I'm Jacob

I'm a student. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary serving in the Greece Athens Mission. I love my call, and I thank my Heavenly Father every day for the chance to be a representative of His son Jesus Christ. I recently studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A Level, and intend to complete a masters degree in Aerospace Engineering after my mission. I love reading about science and history, especially classical history. I also enjoy spending time with friends, watching films and playing video games.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of the Church before I was born, so I have grown up in the Gospel. Over the years I have come to know for myself that this is Christ's true church on the earth today. The church makes me happy, and living in accordance with its teachings has made me the person I now am. I know that the Book of Mormon is both a historical record of actual events, and also Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It was translated by Joseph Smith, who was a Prophet of God, just like Abraham or Moses. The church today has Jesus Christ at its head, and has a living prophet who is His mouthpiece. As we follow the example of Jesus Christ, and strive to be like Him in all that we do, we can find happiness in this life and the life to come.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a two year mission to the Greece, Athens mission, where I have the opportunity share the Gospel with others and live my faith every day. I love to talk about the Gospel with everyone and anyone, as I want others to have the joy I have found through the Gospel. For the last 6 years I have participated in the Church's youth program, and for the last year the YSA. I have completed four years of early morning seminary, where I studied the scriptures every weekday morning before school.
