Hi I'm Bonnie

I am a wife, a mother of six, and a grandmother of 12.

About Me

My name is Bonnie, I am involved in many activities and hobbies, I backpack, camp, hike, ride the bicycle, snowmobile, read books, and I am a scouter. I am a mother of six children all of which are grown, my last two are twins and are currently serving missions. I have 12 grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always know the church was true, from when I was a small child. But when the prophet, President Hinckley asked every member to read the Book of Mormon from October to the end of the year I took the challenge to heart and read it in that short time period, I then took the challenge in Moroni 10:4-5 to ask the Lord. It was then that I had a definite answer. God heard and answered my prayer, He let me know that he was indeed there, that he loved me and that Jesus was the christ and that the Book of Mormon was true. I know this with every fiber of my being. God let me know this!

How I live my faith

I have worked with the young women in my ward or stake for many years, helping to co-ordinate young women's camp and handcart treks. I am currently a visiting teacher and the compassionate service leader in my ward. The compassionate service leader is the person who arranges meals to be brought into the sick, or arrange for funeral meals.
