Hi I'm Julisa

I grew up in the deserts of central Washington. I love the outdoors, animals, and people. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born into a family of all girls, besides my dad. My family is the center of my life along with my love for our Heavenly Father. I love sports such as soccer and water tubing, and I love working and talking with people and animals. I will soon be attending Brigham Young University-Idaho, once again, with much of my extended family. Currently, I'm serving as a missionary in California and I am loving it! When my visa is approved, I will have the privilege of continuing my service in Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon due to the example of my parents and older sisters. My dad's family has been members of the church for generations but my mom was taught and accepted the gospel at age 16. She taught me from a young age that all things are possible through Jesus Christ, including happiness. I could see that joy in the lives of my family. Because of their faithful examples, I made the decision to be baptized at age 8. Every day I continue to live a little better and be a little stronger with the help of my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

As a member of the church, I have the option to serve an 18 month mission at the age of 19 (because I'm a girl). I took this chance and opportunity to reach out to my brothers and sisters of the world because I love my Heavenly Father and I want others to feel the same joy I experience through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
