Hi I'm Brock Egan

I am from Tooele, Utah. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and my family. I enjoy singing, dancing, and acting. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently preparing to serve the Lord as a full-time missionary for two years in the London, England South Mission. I was born and raised in the church. I have three brothers and four sisters, and I love my family. I have loved the performing arts for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of singing with my siblings. I really enjoyed being involved with choir, drama, and ballroom dance throughout high school and I hope those things will always be a part of my life. I also play the piano a little bit when I can. When I return home from my mission, I plan on attending Utah State University and getting some kind of degree in performing arts. My parents divorced when I was quite young, and I am grateful to say that I am very close with both of them and cherish the relationships I have with them. Along with my bishops, seminary teachers, other church leaders, and family members, they have been fantastic examples and teachers to me. I'm grateful for the spiritual strength I receive from my loved ones.

Why I am a Mormon

If I had to choose one answer to explain why I am a Mormon, it would be this: I am a Mormon because I have felt the Spirit testify to me, through my study, that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Jesus Christ truly is my Savior. The way the knowledge of these things makes me feel makes me want to cling to it with all my soul. Because I know these things, I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and truly did translate the Book of Mormon by the hand of our loving Father in Heaven. I am a Mormon because I know it is God's true church - the only one upon the earth with the fullness of the gospel - and I know that I can feel the most peace and happiness in my life as I repent of my sins and strive to become closer to and more like my Savior, Jesus. This knowledge fills me with more joy and happiness than words can explain.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the scriptures and praying daily. I also do my best to share the gospel where I can, and offer answers to those who are looking for them.
