Hi I'm Philip Fletcher

I was born a raised in a small town in California. I've been called to serve a mission for the LDS church in Louisville, Kentucky.

About Me

I'm a student at Brigham Young University. I enjoy writing, the outdoors, and discussions about life and the big picture.

Why I am a Mormon

I had a confusing childhood when it came to religion. My family moved from church to church. But when it came right down to it, the only church I felt good about was the LDS church, despite a history of being bullied by the kids in the ward. Luckily, I had many friends who were active in the church, and through them I came to feel more and more the truth of the church. Reading the Book of Mormon for myself truly helped me to find a change of heart and a love for the Lord. Seminary strengthened my testimony as well. I have no doubt the church is true. It is such a comfort to be able to always have the Holy Ghost present in my life, andon't to have resources and direction like the scriptures and the words of the prophets.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in as many ways as possible. In my church, I currently volunteer time as a one of many leaders for some of the men in our more local meetings. Outside, I live as a disciple of Christ, and am always open to sharing more about my faith with others. I study scriptures daily, and do my best to live in a more Christ-like manner.
