Hi I'm Cade Cardwell

I was born in California, but grew up in Utah. I am a musician and an artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of four boys. I love playing guitar and singing, and I love to play basketball, and watch funny movies and videos with my brothers. I am a missionary, and am currently in the MTC but will be heading to the Comodoro Rivadavia Argentina mission. Afterwards I will be attending BYU. I love meeting new people and helping others in any way I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel is true. There is no doubting the feelings I have had, and continue to have as I read the Book of Mormon and pray. The peace and happiness that come from the knowledge that we do have a Heavenly Father, and that he loves us is amazing, and there is nothing else like it. The atonement of Jesus Christ allows us to better ourselves, and overcome our weaknesses through Christ. I know that Christ lives. I know that he suffered for each and everyone of us, and that he loves each of us perfectly. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and you will come closer to Christ and God everyday as you read it, and as you accept the challenge in Moroni 10: 3-5. I know that without God we, are nothing. I know that as we trust in him, he will make more of us, than we will ever, ever, in all eternity make of ourselves. I know this gospel is true, because of the happiness, joy, and peace it brings to me as I become more involved, and more converted every day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by striving to be the best example I can. I always look for opportunities to serve and help others. I have performed many musical numbers for a lot of church and youth activities. I am serving a full time mission in Argentina, and have the amazing opportunity of sharing this gospel with the people there. I get to serve others 24/7 for the next two years in my mission, and I love helping others come to know that Christ lives and that he loves them.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Cade Cardwell
Coming to know that this church is true requires action. It requires that you express your faith by reading the Book of Mormon, praying, and asking with a sincere heart if the message it contains is true. If you really want to know, you need to decide that you are going to act! Take the challenge in Moroni 10: 3-5. Ponder the message in your heart. And ask. I promise as you do this, the spirit will testify to you, in your mind, and heart that this is true. You will feel something that can not be described, it is like pure joy right inside your chest, and YOU WILL just KNOW that it is true. :) Show more Show less
