Hi I'm Becky

I’m a wife, a mother of five and grandmother of eleven, a retired Realtor and I love being a Mormon.

About Me

North Ogden Utah is where I was raised. I’ve had the blessing of two wonderful mothers in my life. My birth mother died of cancer when I was seven and my father remarried, giving us another wonderful mother to raise us. As I was growing up I enjoyed camping, fishing, friends, music and some sports. I attended Weber State University and BYU, where I developed an interest in archaeology. I’m currently blessed to be a wife, a mother of five wonderful children and grandmother of eleven precious grand children. I’ve always been service oriented and have enjoyed my time as a Realtor, helping people get into homes. I’ve been a volunteer with the Red Cross for many years and have had the opportunity to help and give aid to people when they’ve lost everything. My time there has helped fill my need to serve and make a difference in someone’s life. I’ve loved the opportunity to travel and have especially enjoyed road trips with my husband and family vacations to Mexico where I love seeing other cultures and how people live.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon because of my love for my family and my faith that we can be together forever. My faith in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the knowledge this gospel gives us about the plan of salvation is so important to me. I’m grateful for prophets to lead us in this crazy yet wonderful world. The church gives me knowledge, strength and comfort. I’m grateful to know what this life is all about. It helps give direction in my life.

How I live my faith

For me, living my faith isn’t a hard thing to do. Loving people and the desire to give service comes naturally. It makes me happy knowing I’m helping someone else. Going to church each Sunday is an important part of living my faith. I love the people who are at church and gain strength from the testimonies and associations with them. We strengthen each other. Reading the scriptures and serving in the church brings a lot of satisfaction and is another testimony builder as to the truthfulness of this gospel. I’m very blessed and grateful to be a member of this church. For the countless blessings I’ve received in my life, I feel serving a mission would be one very small way I can show my gratitude. I’m looking forward to serving in the Georgia, Atlanta mission with my husband.
