Hi I'm Tessa

I've lived in Utah my entire life. I played a year of college softball at a junior college in Kansas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. My mom is my best friend, I tell her everything! I enjoy anything outdoors: camping, boating, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, etc. I also love softball, but enjoy doing any sport that keeps me active. I love making people laugh, and I love to laugh myself. I graduated high school with a 4.0, which I maintained through my first year of college. I attended a junior college in Kansas, where I was able play softball. I want to receive my Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical. I am so excited to get married and become a mother. I am currently serving in the England Leeds Mission and I am loving every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I have relatives in the church going back at least 3 generations, so it has always been a part of my life. I got baptized when I was 8 because I knew that's what I was supposed to do. I didn't acquire my own true testimony of this Gospel until this last year, when I was at school in Kansas and got to see missionary work in action. I have lived in Utah my whole life, so I have never been able to witness much missionary work firsthand. Both of my brothers have served missions, but I never knew exactly what missionary work was. However, this last year I was able to see it in Kansas. While I was back there, I grew more than I ever knew I could. I got to participate in missionary work as I witnessed the growth of a new member, the conversion of a friend, and the re-activation of another friend. Being able to take part in this personal missionary work helped me to see the importance of this Gospel and the happiness that it brings into the lives of those who earnestly seek to live it. This happiness comes through the Atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It is through Him, and only Him, that we are able to become whole. Through Him, I have been able to find out who my Heavenly Father wants me to and knows I can become. Through Him, I have been able to gain my own personal testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel. Through Him I am becoming who I know I was meant to be.

How I live my faith

I go out every day and talk with people about the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I do my best to serve and love those around me. I ask myself "what would Jesus do?" and try my best to do what He would do (even though I'm not the best at doing it sometimes, but I try my hardest!)
