Hi I'm Jaymin-Lee

I grew up in New Zealand, I'm Maori, I've been called to serve a mission in the Philippines Iloilo Mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 and the oldest child in my family out of 4. I enjoy playing sports especially basketball. I love to sing and cook. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I finished school in 2013 and currently preparing to serve a mission in the Philippines Iloilo Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was brought up in this church and I have come to know for myself that this church, The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is true because If it wasn't true I wouldn't be still in the church. I have a testimony about prophets and know that we have a prophet on the earth today by the name of Thomas S Monson who leads and directs this church on the earth today. I know that through prayer Heavenly Father does listen and that he wants to hear our concerns to any questions we have and I know he will answer your prayers. I know the prophet Joseph Smith translated the Book Of Mormon and that he did he see God the father and his son. And last but not least I know this gospel can bless our lives because I have seen it bless my family and that it brings happiness into my life also.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be like Jesus in everything I do by How I speak, act, dress, places I go etc and also by being an example and positive influence around my friends and family who are not members of the church. Also I live my faith by attending my church meetings, reading my scriptures daily, prayer and serving faithfully in my calling in my ward as a ward missionary. Through all these things, this is how I live my faith.
