Hi I'm Siera

I love to write. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read and write and do both frequently. I'm an avid Disney fan and am currently studying to work with children - my favorite group of people. I am preparing to serve a mission this fall and just finished my first year of college. I dearly love to laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints makes me happy. It is the source of all my joy, contentedness and any other synonym you can think of. I am a Mormon because I believe that through Christ, I can be saved. I know that with the help and love of my Heavenly Father, I will not only have the chance to live forever with Him but that I can, eventually, be forever like Him. I am a Mormon because I believe in repentance and forgiveness. I believe that families can and will be eternal, and I believe that humans are meant to be happy and are meant to try to be better every day. I am a Mormon because the Book of Mormon is true and because I know that God has not stopped performing miracles - I see them every day. I am a Mormon because I believe in kindness and love and families. I know that there is a living prophet today who receives direct inspiration for this church and for the world. I am a Mormon for every reason in the world.

How I live my faith

I love my community and do whatever possible to be a part of it. I participate in festive celebrations each year and try to serve others to the best of my ability. In my church, I am a volunteer teacher and prepare lessons each month. I have also served in presidencies in smaller organizations specializing in unity and fellowshipping. I provide a lot of free babysitting and tutoring and often serve in leadership positions in the church, in academics and in the community.
