Hi I'm Kenner

I was born and raised in Hawaii. I am a missionary, and later this month I will be serving in New Delhi, India. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Having successfully finished my mission in the Philippines Bacolod Mission, I am beginning school here at home. I am attending Brigham Young University - Hawaii, majoring in applied mathematics. I really love music a lot and I was a very active and involved participant in various bands and the show choir while I was in high school. I was a member of the tennis team in high school, but I also enjoy playing other sports for recreation. I come from a family of two parents and six kids, of whom I'm the oldest. I have four younger sisters and a little, six-year-old brother. Because I have developed a love for math, I'm planning to eventually transfer to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah to get a degree in some kind of engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that we have a Father in Heaven, and I know that he loves all of us, His children, so very much. He loves us so much, that He sent His Son, to die for all of our sins. I know that the church Christ organized during his mortal life has been restored in its entirety in this day as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is the only church on the earth that has the proper authority from God that will allow us to return to our Father in Heaven and share with Him and our Savior Jesus Christ the blessings of eternal life. I know that because this church has true authority from God, I will be able to be with my family eternally as long as I live my life the way that my Father in Heaven wants me to live it, by following the teachings of His Church.

How I live my faith

One way that I participated in my congregation was by visiting the homes of other members in my area to see how they were doing. I usually visited with a companion and we did our best to befriend the families we were assigned to visit and help them with anything they might have need, whether it was of a spiritual nature or something like physical labor. I have also been involved in the BSA and am an Eagle Scout. As a Boy Scout I am often involved with service projects in the community, and to become an Eagle Scout, I needed to organize a service project of my own. I oversaw the repainting of benches outside of our high school gym, and Emergency Vehicle Only zone, and a new handicap ramp to allow wheelchair access to the gym.
