Hi I'm Sierra

I grew up in a small town in Washington. I go to BYU Provo. I am a missionary in the Mexico Puebla North mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and spent my freshman year of college at BYU in Utah. I decided to serve a mission and have just started serving in the Mexico Puebla North mission. I enjoy spending time with friends and being involved in leadership, which I did a lot of in high school.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who were already members of the church, so I never had to go through finding it myself and going through that kind of conversion. However I still have had to stay strong in my faith throughout my life. It was hard during high school especially since most of my friends were not Mormon and were making decisions that were not in accordance with my beliefs. I gave in to some of those temptations and my testimony was faltering a lot. Something made me reevaluate and decide to fix my mistakes, and when I attended BYU in the fall my testimony grew leaps and bounds and I decided to serve a mission. I know that this gospel is true and I know that Christ's church was restored through Joseph Smith. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book and that there is so much we can learn from it. I know that God loves every one of us and that we are all his children. I know that the atonement is always there and that we can always repent of our mistakes and make it back to live with our Heavenly Father and Savior. I love how my life is enhanced by the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings in church which include working among my peers, the youth at the time. At college I was a Sunday school teacher and taught other freshmen students in my ward.
