Hi I'm Zachary Franke

I grew up in Farr West Utah and have been called to serve in the Morristown New Jersey mission for the next two years.

About Me

I grew up in an LDS family that always participated in the church. I am the fifth and last child in my family, and I am the second one to serve a mission. I have three sisters and one brother, whom are all married. My brother served in Kenawyk (probably butchered the spelling) Washington, and he returned five years ago. I have served in multiple church callings in my young men's presidencies, with the most recent being first assistant to the bishop in my priest quorum. Coincidentally enough, my father is the bishop of my ward. My favorite calling has been as the president of my High School seminary council. I love football and sports of any kind. I also love exercising and lifting weights, pretty much anything physical. I have always loved reading, and yeah that's about it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into this church, but I would not be going on a mission if I didn't have my own testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel. I have learned of my Savior's love for me as I have used the atonement in my life and I know for a fact that he would not have gone through that agonizing process if he did not love us completely and perfectly. Anybody that loves me that much deserves my absolute and complete devotion and I hope to be able to achieve the mindset of a servant of Christ.

How I live my faith

As i said in the "about me" section I have served in multiple church callings. I accept whatever call that the Lord gives to me, and I have been extremely blessed by it. I am just about to embark on a two year mission in New Jersey for my Lord, and I am so grateful for that opportunity. I don't know anybody that has messed up as much as me in my youth, so the fact that the Lord has given me the opportunity to serve him for two years just goes to show that he really does love us. That is why he has given us the atonement, so that we can be forgiven and return to him. I will show my faithfulness and love towards my Lord and Savior by serving him for two years in the state of New Jersey. I will go and feed his sheep and I will try to do so humbly.
