Hi I'm Bradley Hollingworth

I've participated in Track and Field, played Football, I love being social, and I am an only child. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports and being active. I love the outdoors especially mountain biking, camping, and hiking. Boating is pretty awesome too. I made it to the State Track meet two years in a row. I was a wide receiver and a safety for football. I love playing basketball, and when I do I usually play center. When I'm not being active I love just laying around! I love playing Pokemon, and other video games. I have torn my ACL, and I have broken two bones. I plan on attending college. I want to major in either business/finance or bio engineering of some sort.I don't go to my home school, I attend a school 20 minutes away. I am an Eagle Scout. I love being social, and I have many friends who I care very strongly about. I love my family! They mean the world to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel gives me a certain feeling of calm that I really enjoy. It helps me to know that I will see my deceased grandparents again who practically raised me as a child and who I love so much! It gives me comfort that I can pray for help and that my Heavenly Father will hear and answer my prayers according to his will. It helps me feel calm that when I die, I can still be with my family. I am a Mormon because of the great support system that the church offers to help me when me or my family are struggling with whatever sadness or hardship comes our way. I also love all of the friends that I make due to the connections that I can make with other people my age since we already have the gospel as a commonality.

How I live my faith

I took a seminary class while I was at high school. I love serving others and being an example to younger kids in the Youth program, specifically the Young mens. I love getting to know other youth in my area and making friendships with those youth that I meet. I talk whenever I am asked to in Sacrament meeting. I have helped pass and prepare the Sacrament. I like just living my life in accordance with the church standards. I enjoy just being there for others when they need me.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Bradley Hollingworth
I don't think that there is any specific way to describe the Mormon lifestyle. Every Mormon is different. We may share common interests (video games, sports, music, politics, the outdoors, etc.). We do what we like to do, as long as it is within the church standards. We still like to have fun. Some things that are different about us is that when we go to/throw a party, we don't have alcohol or drugs. We go to church on Sundays for three hours, and then will usually hang out with our families for the rest of that day. All in all there are very few differences between the ways Mormon's live and the way those who are not Mormon live. We are here to have joy, and that is what we try to do! Show more Show less
