Hi I'm Maryna Corry

I grew up in Draper, Utah. I am currently attending SUU. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying Family Life and Human Development at Southern Utah University, I am a nanny for a few different nurses and absolutely adore and love each one of their kids, I love to be outdoors, I love to bake, I love spending time with my husband and family, and I love the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because of how I feel when I attend church and learn about Jesus Christ, and because of the way that I feel as I read the scriptures. There is no doubt in my mind that this church is true. I have always been a member of this gospel, but I did not know for sure that it was true until I was eight years old. Growing up my dad was not always a member of the church, but that did not matter to me, I would come home from church so happy and my dad never knew why, but I did, it was because I felt the spirit as I sang primary songs, and as I learned about my savior. My dad would always ask me why we always came home so happy and what we talked about, I would tell him about all the things we did and how they made me feel and he became more interested and started taking lessons from the missionaries, eventually he was baptized about three and a half months after my eighth birthday, and a week after he was baptized, he baptized me, it was so wonderful and special, words cannot describe the way I felt about that day. I had never felt the spirit so strong in my life. I knew from that moment after I came out of the water that this was the true church. As the years have gone by and as our family has grown in the church, I grow to love this gospel more and more everyday. I feel the love of my savior as I attend church and as I study my scriptures, and I never want to lose this feeling.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday, and partaking of the sacrament and learning more about my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus christ, I live my faith by helping with our ward garden as well, some week nights my husband and I will meet up with other members of the ward and help weed and water the ward garden, I also live my faith by visiting sisters in my ward and getting to know each one of them and helping them with whatever needs they may have. I have made so many friends just by going to church and getting to know each of the members and being able to serve them.
