Hi I'm Elder Swartz

I'm an avid reader. I enjoy hiking and the outdoors. I love steak and ice cream. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am currently at the Provo Missionary Training Center learning Tahitian and French. On December 1st, I will leave the MTC for the Tahiti Papeete Mission. I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since age 8. In essence, I've grown up learning about Christ. This knowledge and the firm witness I've received that it is true is why I desire to share the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those in French Polynesia. While I might not know everything there is to know in this life, I do know what Christ expects of me and what I must do in order to return to live with Him and my Heavenly Father. This message, that Jesus Christ is our Savior and has established a way for us to find joy, is what I want to share with the people in Tahiti and the surrounding islands that make up French Polynesia.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that The Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. That The Book of Mormon is the word of God. That Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God like Moses, Abraham and Isaac. That through him Jesus Christ was able to restore the Gospel upon the earth. My testimony of these things and other sacred truths is why I'm a Mormon. Why I do what I do. Jesus Christ is the center of my life, my foundation, and I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (otherwise known as The Mormon Church) is the one true church upon the earth and that it is Christ's Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service to others and by following the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
