Hi I'm Hayden Chadaz

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I am about to serve a mission in Berlin, Germany. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a teenage boy that has lived in Utah my entire life. I grew up with my close friends that are in my ward and in my quorum. I was very shy growing up, but because of my friends and my ward family, I was able to become more social and happy. Now, I do things like play sports with my friends, play the guitar, go on dates often, and enjoy doing things by living the principles of the gospel. I was recently blessed with the call to serve in Berlin, Germany. I hope to gain friendships and love for the people there as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always know the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but I have not always had a testimony of it. When I had difficulties in my life I began to question my faith. I turned to the Book of Mormon. I began to read it and when I finished I realized that it truly was the word of God because the Holy Ghost bore witness of that to me. Because the Book of Mormon in true, that means that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God, and that he truly restored the same church that Jesus Christ established in his ministry. I have been comforted and filled with the Spirit of God when I turn to the Lord. His hand has been in my life, and I owe everything to Him for delivering me out of the bondage of sin and pain.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed with many callings throughout the past couple years. I was called to be an assistant to my bishop in my priest quorum. This calling has been a huge blessing in my life; it has helped me mature and grow closer to the lord. I was blessed with another calling to serve on my local seminary council. This calling came to me in a very hard part of my life, and gave me great comfort. I also received a call to serve on a council for my stake. I was able to help our youth by organizing events that they could have fun participating and while keeping them appropriate for them as well. I have also had the opportunity to home teach many families. As I taught them lessons out of the Ensign, I grew spiritually and I grew to love the families I taught. Now that I have a calling to serve a mission in Germany, I look forward to gaining that love for the people there and to serving my Father in Heaven.
