Hi I'm Cameron Ashton

I love woodworking. I played water polo for 3 years. I love the beauty and the sanctity of the Temple. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in Amarillo Texas, the youngest of five at that time. When I was only a few months old my family moved to Kansas where my little sister was born. A short while later we moved to Utah where the last member of our family came into the world. I grew up in Utah and spent 15 years of my life there. I made many friends and participated in multiple activities. I joined the county water polo team when I was in 7th grade and played until I was in High School. I have built a wardrobe and a dresser from scratch and enjoy working with my hands. I am currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Canada Halifax mission. I enjoy spreading the gospel that Jesus Christ Himself taught when he was on the earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. Being a "Mormon" I know that families can be together forever. It does not matter if a family member has passed away because I know that in the end I will see them again and be able to live with them. I love the peace and love that I feel in the Holy Temples and visit as often as I can. I have seen many blessings come into my life from the Temple and also holding the Priesthood of God. With this power I am able to bless the lives of my family and friends.

How I live my faith

While growing up I attended church in the local meeting house every Sunday and visited people in need with the missionaries. I have had many callings within the church that have helped me grow in my faith and in my testimony. I have completed 4 years of seminary and left my home in Arizona to serve a mission in the Canada Halifax mission on September 10 of 2014. I have enjoyed my time in the service of the Lord.
