Hi I'm Kendall

I'm a dreamer, an adventurer, a friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from a smallish town in Utah. I love to play the piano, sing, go to the theater, doodle, dress in costume (at the appropriate time, of course), shop at thrift stores, go camping, visit the drive-in movie theater every once in a while, and stay up late laughing and sharing funny stories. I am a student at Brigham Young University-Provo (go cougars!) and I love it! I am currently serving mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and could not be more excited.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. Sure, the people in the church aren't perfect; they (including me) make mistakes. But the gospel of Jesus Christ is perfect. It is beautiful and can bring true happiness and joy to all who choose to listen to it and live it. I have felt the God's love for me as I visit His house (the temple), as I receive a priesthood blessing, and as I pray. I have felt the love of my older brother Jesus Christ as I have taken the sacrament, provided service for those in need, and as I have read (and continue to read) the Book of Mormon. I love knowing that I have an older brother who suffered for every sin and all the pain that I will experience in this life, and that He and only He can truly comfort me and wants to comfort me. I love knowing that I can pray to my Heavenly Father and that I will receive an answer. I love knowing that I can be with my family forever through the sealing power found in the temple. I love the peace the gospel brings; I know who I am, where I came from, and where I'm going. I am a Mormon because it brings me true happiness, peace, comfort, strength, and understanding.

How I live my faith

The biggest way I am currently living my faith is by setting aside 18 months to tell people about Christ. But a big part of that is scripture study (every day), praying sincerely (multiple times a day), and serving my brothers and sisters (aka everybody).
