Hi I'm Porter Bramwell

I was born and raised in Arizona. I love the Gospel. I love the outdoors. And i am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently 20 years young. I love being outside and doing new things. I am an Eagle Scout. I try and do something good or new everyday to keep things exciting. I started a yard business when i was 14 called "He-Man Landscaping". I try to be an example to others to follow though I am not perfect at it. I love to Four-Wheel in my bronco, go camping and shoot guns. I tend to end up fixing cars also. I was the High School Mascot my senior year and enjoyed every bit of it. I play the guitar and love to Rock out. Having fun is a must.I am serving an LDS Mission in Pittsburgh, PA.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been born into the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have gone every sunday. However, My faith has been challenged by many friends. But i was also challenged by church leaders to find out for myself if the church is true. I received a witness of its truth. I cannot deny the truthfullness of the Gospel I have. It was not obtained through members telling me it's true. But I asked Heavenly Father if it was true. (James 1:5) and I felt a witness of this gospel's divinity (Moroni 10:5). Also if you think about alot of the commandments and standards they have implemented, it all makes sense. It is a greater insight of the bigger picture of what really matters in life. I love it.

How I live my faith

By showing everyone I don't have to change who I am to follow Jesus Christ. I can still be ME, and live in the standards Jesus Christ has set.

What is being a Mormon like?

Porter Bramwell
Being a Mormon or Latter-day Saint is actually really fun! Yeah we get the greatest joy out of the simplest of things. But isn't that what life is about? Knowing that there is a big plan for all of us and that our Heavenly Father Loves and knows each of us is really comforting. I know that the church is true. I love being a mormon. What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Porter Bramwell
A lot of people think that women are less than men. That's not true. In the bible in 1 Corinthians 11:11 it talks about how women and men are equal. My dad says " I am the head of this home. Your mom is the neck. The neck turns the head." Husband and wife. Male and Female are equal. Team players. My experience with Mormon women is they are so family focused. They have standards of what their Heavenly Father expects of them as daughters of God. It really shows in how they act and treat others. Show more Show less
