Hi I'm Camille

I am Canadian and am blessed to be currently serving the Lord in the Canada Toronto Mission! I love the gospel. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of two children in our little family. I have a wonderful brother and loving parents who I admire greatly. I have taken a semester of University in the hopes of pursuing a teaching degree, but have put school and work aside for 18 months to serve a mission for my church and spread the good word of God. Although not the most outgoing person at first, I can certainly talk your ear off once warmed up. Haha. I love studying the scriptures; both the Bible and the Book of Mormon because it gives me the guidance and answers I need to live my life in line with God's will. :) Above all, my passion is music. Though I don't play any instruments (very well at least,) It is the art form that settles my mind and spirit when troubled and lifts my soul when happy! Singing and writing are my two best forms of expression so I tend to stick to those when needing to convey an important message. :) I am currently serving a mission in Toronto Canada and love sharing the restored gospel every day with anyone and everyone who will listen. The full teachings of Jesus Christ as well as his priesthood authority is once more in effect on the earth today and with this knowledge and understanding I have found the guidance and direction I need in my life. I know the joy and peace the gospel can bring and I am so grateful for the opportunity to bring others to Christ through it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know of God's love for me. Because he loves me, I know God loves each of his children equally and without fail. If God loved his children in the America's just as he loved his children across the world in biblical times, would he not have given them all the same guidance and council? The Book of Mormon is a historical record like the Bible, filled with the words of God's chosen prophets on the American continents. This book is true. It is full of light, knowledge, and applicable principles for our day. I have read it, prayed about it, and pondered it's message, and through the Holy Spirit have felt a confirmation that it is the word of God. I am a Mormon because I know it is the only complete and true church on the earth today. It is organized with God's power and authority. I am a Mormon because through the church's teachings I have gained an understanding of the plan of happiness that God has prepared for his children. I know where I came from, why I'm here, and where I'm going. These answers provide me with the peace, joy, and purpose I need to live the life I do. I am a Mormon because through my leaders, teachers, and parents I have learned about my Savior Jesus Christ. My elder brother loved me enough to die for my sins, so that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again someday. I am a Mormon because of the wonderful fellowship felt within this amazing, true church. Members of our church are to love and serve one another, and by doing this our lives are continually blessed by each other and by God. I am a Mormon because I desire to follow God's guidance and plan for me. I desire to show my love and gratitude for him by being obedient to his commandments, and trying to be my best self. Being a Mormon shows me how to turn my greatest dreams and desires into possibilities and realities.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because the true and restored gospel has blessed my life so much I have gained a great desire to spread the same joy that I have experienced and share it with all who will listen. I have also enjoyed serving individuals in my congregation and have grown to love them as I have done so! Through visiting with and striving to help people I know, I have developed lasting friendships that I now cherish. I also live my faith through song. Each time I sing about my beliefs, I feel the Holy Spirit testify to me that what I'm sharing is right and true. I think it becomes easier to serve as we recognize that there are many with needs greater than our own. Keeping this mind set isn't always easy, but I believe it's important. Christ is the perfect of example of selfless service and because I follow Christ, I try to follow his example as well.
