Hi I'm Kristine

I grew up in the Halifax area of Nova Scotia. I love spending my time with my 4 daughters. I love crafts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Halifax area and I love it here! I worked as a flight attendant for several years and was able to travel around quite a bit and see a lot of what the world has to offer, but I can't imagine calling anywhere else home! No matter where I've gone or what I've seen I always keep coming back! I love crafts. There is something so calming to me about creating something of beauty and sharing that creation with the people around me. I also love to read and find it hard to put down a really good book, Jane Eyre is my favourite but I also love books like Harry Potter and the Hunger Games. I have 4 young daughters and a husband who fill my life with joy and love. They have each taught me so much and continue to challenge me and help me grow everyday. I can't imagine my life without them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church and I have always loved it and appreciated the morals and values that it taught , however in my early 20s I really searched and needed to find out for myself if it was all true. After a lot of reading and praying over months and months I had a real witness of the spirit and I knew then that the things I have been taught since my child hood were all true. I know that the Book of Mormon is a testimony of Christ and that we have a living prophet on earth today and that is so exciting to me!

How I live my faith

In my ward I serve with our Young Women's group, which is a group of our teenaged girls. They amaze me every week! The messages, temptations and hardships that the world throws at them every day are very difficult but these girls are raising above it and becoming wonderful women right before my eyes. I am so proud of them and I know that their parents are too! I try to live my faith every day and not just on sundays. I try to make it a regular part of our home and family life, which isn't always easy, but it invites a spirit of love and kindness into our home and brings Heaven a little closer.
