Hi I'm Mitch Gill

I'm a sports fanatic, a Jayhawk by home, a BYU Cougar by birth, a statistician, a husband, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a recent graduate of BYU with a degree in statistics. I've always been a lover of sports. I grew up playing anything with a ball. Now, I'm more of a watcher and a critic of the sports that I watch. As my family would tell you I always have an opinion about what is happening and my wife will quickly try to get me to stop yelling at refs or players alike. I look forward to the days when I will get to watch my children compete, whether that's in sports or any other kind of competition. Hopefully at that time I'll have learned to stop yelling at refs or judges whoever they may be.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, literally because I was born into a family that raised me in the church. However, I've remained a Mormon long after leaving home because of the belief I have in Jesus Christ. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ isn't always easy, but it's so worth it.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week. I have had the opportunity to teach youth and adult classes alike. Church is an important part but that hopefully isn't the only way I'm expressing my faith. I try to live my life in a way that leads others to do good. I try to live the values that I have everyday, and when I fall short, I try and do better the next day. That's one thing I love about the gospel of Jesus Christ, it's all about constant progression and that's the path that I'm on.
