Hi I'm Skye Chadaae

I am a converted Mormon of two years and I would love to serve a full time mission. I'm Maori and love the outdoors.

About Me

I'm a young Maori student, who is proud to be a Mormon. I am doing a Social Work degree studying Psycology and Maori within the next few years at Waikato University. I want to work with children helping them develop into leaders and reach their potential encouraging them and giving them support. I love hockey, softball, football, rugby, cricket, volleyball, and boxing. I love to be active!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I always knew their was a God. So I would pray often for help with little things; school, family, friends and even decision. It wasn't until April 2012 when I was introduced to the fullness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it was then that I was able to pray more sincere. I am a Mormon today because someone else was able to share the truth with me the "plan" help me come to know for myself the church which I felt was true and would follow. I prayed about it and felt an assurance that this was His full church. I continue to live as a member today so that other can be brought into this gospel and I can share with everyone the Love I've felt through knowing more about the Savior and the plan of salvation. Just like myself I think you would benefit from knowing about this. I know that this church will bring answers and assurance as well and peace and acceptance. Members of this church believe that we can return to our Heavenly father and by living the words of the Lord we are all able to do so. This is why I choose to live the gospel so that I may be able to feel that complete love of Christ and our Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father accepts you no matter who you are and what your past is. I don't know you but I would love to know you! I am a daughter of out Heavenly Father and as a daughter I can only but love one another :) Try praying today about the church ? :)

How I live my faith

I feel the the love of the savior when I am actively participating in church activities. Missionary work pays a great role in this . I am called to serve as a ward missionary- as part of this role I get to help the full-time missionaries as often as I can as well as go out and meet to new people learn about our beliefs. When I have the opportunity to share the gospel with others I know I can help them feel the happiness I do, being a member of the full gospel of our savior Jesus Christ. I love to live the standards that I have learnt and strive to reach my full potential.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Skye Chadaae
Missionaries share a message about Jesus Christ and His Atonement for all people. They teach about our Heavenly Father’s great plan of salvation, which allows all people the opportunity to return to Him. However they are there to meet your needs and will only talk about things that you are comfortable with. Missionaries aren't suppose to force the message on to you but do share it with you because as a member we believe that this Gospel is the true church, therefore by knowing and living what the missionaries talk to you about, you are able to receive all blessings and answers we receive. It's kind of like sharing our "secrets" to how we can return to Heavenly Father, excepts it's no secret because we want you to know :D Show more Show less
