Hi I'm Jerry

I'm from Southern California. I'm a Dancer/Choreographer | Public Speaker | Activist; & I'm Mormon.

About Me

I live in Southern California! Growing up, I observed; I moved around a lot and went through a lot; so from a very young age the idea of changing the lives of people through dedication and service, was planted in my mind and heart. I love to play soccer and dance. I also enjoy reading, studying, and applying principles found in books written by inspiring people such as Napoleon Hill and Eric Thomas; aside from also studying & living the teachings found in the scriptures. Taking all these things: my talents, experiences, and studies--I've dedicated my time and effort to train and prepare, so that one day I can help change the lives of people wherever I may find myself through my craft with the guidance of the Lord's spirit. This, being my goal for when I return from my mission. (Currently awaiting my call!)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know of the truth for myself. The best and only way to know if something is true, is to go forth with a humble heart and meditate on it; studying and always praying about it to know. Asking Heavenly Father is the only way to know for sure (1 Nephi 15:3, 7-11). His spirit will testify of the truth to us (Jacob 4:13), and we will know in every fiber of our being that this is the only and true church of Christ (2 Nephi 31:21). I know that this is His doctrine. I know that because of Jesus Christ and his atonement, we can be redeemed of our sins and be found worthy of salvation; if we but repent of our sins and follow him. I know that the Father and his only Begotten showed themselves unto Joseph Smith, that through him, the gospel of Christ should be restored to the earth to make way for the final dispensation. The prophets of old prophesied of these latter-days. All that has happened since the creation of the world has been for this, this is truly the final hour. He wants us to return to Him in the kingdom of Heaven; he wants us to dwell with him for eternity in a state of eternal happiness with our families. "...blessed is this people who are willing to bear my name; for in my name shall they be called; and they are mine...For behold, in my name are they called; and if they know me they shall come forth, and shall have a place eternally at my right hand." (Mosiah 26:18,24). In the name of Jesus Christ, our savior, Amen.

How I live my faith

Studying the scriptures, one may learn of the manner in which our Heavenly Father would like us to live our lives. The teachings of the prophets, and their stories alone have, in them, eternal principles by which we can all meditate on and apply to our lives. I live my faith by always seeking the Lord in all that I do (2 Nephi 32:9). I strive to live a worthy life by following the commandments and always remembering Christ at all times during the day and night (Mosiah 4:30). I, then, having obtained a personal testimony of all the things which I come to the knowledge of through the Spirit; I make it a daily goal to go out, and teach those who will listen. In hopes that I may show them the light, and come to know what I know; that I may strengthen them (Luke 22:32).
